Hong Kong’s vibrant nightlife and clubbing areas attract revellers from all over the world and offer a dizzying array of choice. The trouble is knowing where to begin.

You can’t come to Hong Kong without experiencing the pulsating energy of the city’s nightlife. In top entertainment hotspots like Lan Kwai Fong, SoHo and Wan Chai, Hong Kong offers a diverse mix of clubs, from the exclusive to the cheap and cheerful.

Of the city’s three main entertainment areas, Lan Kwai Fong – Hong Kong’s most popular nightlife spot – is a hilly, L-shape cobblestone lane in Central, which is famous for being the heart of the city’s drinking and clubbing scene. It’s lined with more than 100 bars, restaurants and clubs, so you can expect plenty of antics and late-night revelry.

While neighbouring SoHo, referring to the area south of Hollywood Road, offers a more sophisticated night out with its upmarket bars and first-class restaurants.
